The legislator issued Judicial Authority Law No. (10) of 2003, which came into effect as of the second of October 2004. The law unified the judicial and Sharia judiciaries into one body called the courts, which are the Court of Cassation, the Court of Appeal, and the Court of Primary Instance, each of which is competent to decide on matters. submitted to it in accordance with the law.
